About Me:
I'm a bit of a jack of all trades - writing, copyediting, teaching ESL, translation (French to English). To this point, I've mostly worked in Chemistry, Medicine and Pharmaceuticals but increasingly I have been writing Fiction as well.
I've always wanted to learn to take photographs so last year I asked my family for a digital camera.
I have a simple one, Olympus D565 (the AF can't be turned off for example). The idea being to learn how to see rather than the technology. I would love to have a better camera eventually.
Currently having LOTS of problems with my pc so not able to post even though i've got a ton of new pics - sigh - back to the grind - hopefully will be able to post something soon

The building and fixtures are original Art Deco. There are many such buildings in Montreal because the government at the time funded a series of make-work projects.
Same here, I hope we'll get a lot more sun!
